Ali Baba’s Kitchen is a long lived dream of Kalil Salah. His passion for cooking began at the age of 15 in Jordan that led him to the kitchen of a Marriott Hotel where he polished his culinary skills. Later, he migrated to the United States with his family with a dazzling dream to serve authentic Eastern Mediterranean cuisine to the American foodies.
Kalil opened Ali Baba’s Kitchen in Newbury Park, California in the year 2000. He introduced diners to freshly prepared, Halal Mediterranean dishes made from scratch. The restaurant grew in popularity along with the growth in its quality. All thanks to Kalil’s dedication his deep love for flavorful recipe and the enthralling support of his trusted kitchen partner Danilo Lopez.
